Meet Gobi – The Goblin King!
Gobi is a lovable, goofy, high-energy pup with a big heart. At 2.5 years old and weighing in at 60 pounds, he’s strong and needs a handler who has experience with power breeds. Gobi is a bundle of joy and personality. He's super bubbly, happy, and smart, but also a little bit stubborn. If you're looking for a dog who's always ready to play and keep you on your toes, Gobi is your guy! This silly boy thrives in an environment where he can be given proper training and direction. Gobi’s a quick learner, but consistency is key! He can get a bit mouthy when excited and is prone to jumping, so he's best suited for a home without small children. He has also been tested with kitty cats, and sadly - it’s no cats for Gobi.
Gobi is crate trained and enjoys spending time in his crate, especially if food or treats are involved. He can get a little anxious when left alone in the crate, but he settles down after a few minutes. He’s also food-motivated, making training a breeze when treats are involved!
Although Gobi isn’t a big fan of toys, he loves his bed and is always happy to curl up for a good nap. Car rides? No problem! Gobi is a pro in the car and will settle down quickly, making him an excellent travel buddy. Leash walks are an adventure with Gobi! He pulls quite a bit at first, but with some guidance, he settles into a calmer pace. He’s also got a little bit of a jumpy streak—whether it's jumping on counters or on you—but he’s quick to respond to corrections.
Gobi is an absolute sweetheart who is very affectionate and loves to be close to you. He’ll let you know when he’s ready for attention, and he’s always up for a good snuggle or belly rub. If you're looking for a dog who will steal your heart and keep you laughing, Gobi is ready to be your forever companion.
