Hey, hey, hey! I'm Buddha, but you can call me Booty or Bubba if you're feelin' extra cozy! I’m a 1.5-year-old Pocket Bully, weighing in at about 70 pounds, but I could stand to gain a few more — I’m just a big, lovable lug who’s always up for a good snack and a cuddle. I’m full of energy and have a personality that bounces around like a rubber ball! I’m a *total sweetheart* — I love people, love pets, and most of all, I LOVE love! If you're looking for a goofy, affectionate buddy to brighten your day, look no further! I get along with everyone, including kiddos — I’ve met a 3-year-old and was awesome with him. I do get a bit excited and jumpy sometimes, but I totally listen when you tell me “no” or “off!” I do not want to live with small children. 12 + only please.

I might be a little intimidating with how bouncy and strong I am, but I promise, I just want to play! I’d thrive with an active family who can give me a fenced yard to run around in or take me on all kinds of adventures. Oh, and I LOVE other dogs! I might bounce around a bit too much for some, but I’m just trying to have fun. I’ve also met some cats — I’m okay with them through a gate, but they probably should be dog-savvy if you have one. Now, a little secret: I’ve got a chicken allergy, so no chicken snacks for me, please! My ears get a bit dry and itchy, but a little TLC keeps me feeling good. I’m crate trained and will whine and bark for a bit when I’m first put in, but I settle down soon enough, especially if you leave me with a cozy blanket or some toys to snuggle with. I’m doing really well with house training, though I’ve had an occasional accident — I’m still getting the hang of it, but I’m a quick learner! I love going for car rides, but a seatbelt harness is the best way to keep me safe. I’m very smart, and while I may pull on walks (I’m still working on my leash manners ), a little correction gets me back on track.

So, if you’ve got room for a big, goofy guy like me, I’ll be your best buddy forever! I love stuffies, I’m a pro snuggler, and I’m ready to bring all the joy and love to your life.
Here’s the scoop: I’m heading to the vet next week for the full works, including getting neutered! It’s a top priority for me, and I’ll be ready to roll with a fresh start and feeling even better than before. After that, I’ll be all set for my forever home!
