Meet Buddy!

Buddy is a 5-year-old American Bulldog/Lab mix. He’s a hefty 80lbs but is an incredibly calm, gentle and low energy dog. He can be shy when meeting new people, so slow introductions are important to ensure a positive experience and build his confidence. Buddy is crate trained and house trained. 

Buddy would love a home with a fenced in backyard where he has space to run around and play. Buddy loves dogs and would do well in a home with canine companions. Due to his prey drive, he should not live with any feline friends. Buddy would enjoy playing with human siblings over the age of 12, who have dog experience.

Buddy has phenomenal manners. He doesn’t bark, jump or chew on things that he shouldn’t. He enjoys bones and is even willing to share them with other dogs. He is not food possessive. 

During leashed walks, he doesn’t pull and is non-reactive, but he's very aware of his surroundings and will notice squirrels and bunnies. Buddy would benefit from using a gentle leader and focusing on intentional training during walks. Buddy is a perfect angel in the car, so he would love to come along for adventures!

Buddy is looking for a foster-to-adopt or adoption placement. We will provide you with a crate, collar and leash.Can you give this handsome boy a home?
