Meet Cleo! Foster Needed / Foster to Adopt
Hi, I’m Cleo! I’m an affectionate and playful pup with a sweet disposition. At 11 months old, I’m still discovering the world and learning to navigate new experiences with confidence. I’m happiest when I’m close to my people, whether that means basking in the sun in the yard or snuggling up for some quality cuddle time.
I love being close to people and am always ready for a snuggle. I’ve got a silly, laid-back personality, but I can turn up the energy when it’s time to play.I’m pretty adaptable and feel content wherever my people are. I am a young social girl, and my new family really needs to have time for me. I really enjoy being outdoors, especially when I can lounge in the sun. I’m a yard lover at heart, and I’d be so happy in a home with a yard where I can enjoy the outdoors. I’ve been around kids ages 9 and 12, and I do really well with them, especially if they’re dog-savvy. I’m also friendly with other dogs! With proper introductions, I know I can build confidence and make some great doggy friends.
I’ll admit, I’ve had a few accidents inside—but I’m doing my best to get the hang of things. I’m still learning, and with a bit more guidance, I know I’ll get there! I could really benefit from some beginner training classes to help me learn basic commands and improve my social skills. I’m eager to please and would thrive with a little bit of training. I’m also working on my crate training. I did manage to escape once, but overall, I’m okay with going into my crate.
I have to be honest—I’m not a fan of cats, so I’ll need a cat-free home. The good news is I don’t have any issues with excessive barking, jumping, or chewing. I’m incredibly lovable, and my silly personality is just starting to shine. I’m close to perfect, and with a little bit of commitment, I’ll be a wonderful companion. In a cat-free home, I’ll truly thrive and bring endless love and joy into my new family!
