Meet Jarvis!

I’m Jarvis, a sweet and loving American Bully mix, and all I want is to be by your side. I’m an affectionate boy who will follow you everywhere, always eager to be close to my people. Whether we’re cuddling on the couch or snuggling up in bed at night, I’m happiest when I’m with you. I’m also perfectly content sleeping in my crate or on my own bed if you ask me to.

I’m a playful pup who loves games like tug of war and fetch. I’m great at having fun, but I have to warn you—I’ll most definitely destroy any toy you give me (it’s all part of the fun!). I’m good at matching your energy level, so if you’re up for an active day of play, I’m all in, but if you’re in the mood to lounge around, I’m happy to snuggle up with you all day.

I’m incredibly obedient and listen well. Even though I’m low-energy, I love to play and stay active when you’re up for it. However, I need a home with people who have time for me. I don’t like being left alone all day, as it makes me sad. I’m crate trained and well-behaved when left by myself, but I’m happiest when I’m around my people.

I’d thrive in a quiet household with a fenced backyard where I can sunbathe and relax. I’d be best suited as the only dog in the home, though I might do well with a female dog of similar size. I’m not a fan of small dogs or other male dogs, as I tend to try to assert dominance. I’ve lived with children before, but I feel I’m happier in a home without them, so a home without young kids would be ideal. I’m generally good with cats and would be OK sharing my home with some kitty cats.

While I’m mostly well-behaved on walks, I can be reactive to other dogs and sometimes people, especially males. I’m still working on my confidence—I came from Quebec, where I was very mistreated, and I’m still learning to feel safe. I would benefit from having a confident, friendly dog around that I could learn from. I’d also benefit from some training, and I come with one free training session when I’m adopted!

I’m an amazing dog who just wants to be close to the people I love. With a little training and the right environment, I’ll be your loyal, loving companion who’s always ready to be by your side. 🐶

I am up to date on appropriate vaccinations, I have been dewormed, been given flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and I am neutered as well.
