Wilma is an energetic and playful 11-12 month old mixed bully/hound who weighs 58 lbs of pure love and joy. With her gentle nature, she’s an easygoing companion who’s eager to learn and fit into almost any home. Whether you’re looking for a cuddly snuggle buddy or an adventurous walking partner, Wilma is up for it all!
Wilma is versatile and adaptable, making her an ideal family dog. She’s been exposed to children, including a rambunctious 7-year-old, and she’s proven to be calm, affectionate, and loving with them. She also has experience around a cat and is quickly establishing a relationship with her feline friend. She’s showing that with a proper introduction, she can get along with other dogs too—she’s currently being submissive with a Chihuahua X and is not reactive to others she meets on walks.
Although Wilma is playful and full of energy, she’s also a cuddle bug at heart. She loves attention, giving sweet kisses, and being with her people. Her enthusiasm for squeaky toys and her favorite chew toys (like a Benebone) makes her an entertainer, while her calm demeanor when she’s in her crate shows that she’s also capable of settling down. She is crate-trained and takes about 2-4 minutes to settle in once inside.
