LUCY - AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 

Lucy is a 5-month-old Shepherd mix with a sweet, silly personality and a heart full of love. She's just starting to come out of her shell after a shy start in life, and each day she grows braver and more playful. Once she feels safe, she turns into a total goofball who loves cuddles, squeaky toys, and yak cheese.

Lucy is a calm, low-energy pup who enjoys both quiet time and gentle play. She does especially well with other dogs—particularly calm, confident ones—and has been great with cats, too. While she’s still learning to trust new people, she’s made big progress and would thrive in a patient, understanding home. She’s met respectful older kids and did well, but a quieter home without young children would be ideal.

She’s crate trained (especially with calming music), getting the hang of house training, and learning to be okay alone for short periods. While she hasn’t been on walks yet due to vaccine timing, she’s doing well on a leash and will benefit from slow, positive introductions to the world.

Lucy is smart, sensitive, and eager to learn. She’s looking for a calm, consistent home where she can continue to grow in confidence and feel safe.
