Meet Abby!

I’m a 2-year-old Staffy mix, weighing about 40 lbs, and I’m pretty much the definition of a laid-back, loving pup. I’ve got a gentle soul and low energy, so if you're into cuddles, I’m your girl—I could snuggle all day! I might come off as a little shy at first, but once I warm up, you’ll see my playful, goofy side. I love zooming around the yard when I get the chance, showing off my speed!

I’m all about chilling and hanging out, so if you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing companion, I think we’d get along great. I get along great with other dogs—super gentle and patient with them. I haven’t met any cats yet, but I think I’d do just fine since I’m a pretty good listener. A yard to run around in would be awesome, but I’m not picky. What matters most is having someone who’s got time to hang out with me, ‘cause being left alone isn’t really my thing.

I’m working on this whole crate training thing and I sleep through the night like a champ. But I do get a little anxious when I’m in there alone during the day. I think I’d do way better if I didn’t have to stay in the crate when you’re out. I’m pretty chill, though, and just need some love and patiences.

I’m a pretty smart cookie, if I do say so myself! Food is the way to my heart, and I love chomping on bones and sticks. Toys? Meh, not really my thing. I’m great in the car, and while I’m super chill on walks, I could use a little help with my leash skills. I’d totally love a doggy buddy too—it would really help boost my confidence.

I pick things up fast, and I’m good at sharing with other dogs (though if I’ve got something *really* special, I might want to keep it to myself). And when I need some attention or a hug, I’ll give a little jump to let you know. I’m all about love and loyalty, and I’ll definitely bring lots of joy into your life. Let’s make it happen!

I’m fully up-to-date on all my vaccinations, including my rabies shot, and I’ve been spayed. I’ve also tested negative for heartworm, so I’m all set and ready to bring my love and energy to my forever home!
