Meet Ghost! 👻

I’m a young, high-energy American Bulldog mix, just under a year old, and weighing 55 lbs. I’ve got tons of energy and love to play, explore, and learn new things. I’m always eager to please, but I can be a bit of a handful if my energy isn’t put to good use!

I’d love a family with kids over 10 and maybe another dog who likes to play rough like I do. I’ve met some kids while on leash—didn’t mind them at all—but adults are cool too! I’m a huge fan of toys (all kinds), and while I’m not destructive in my crate, I’ll let you know I’m there if I hear people around. I’m mostly house-trained, but sometimes I forget to ask to go outside. My humans are trying to teach me with a bell, but I haven’t quite figured that out yet.

Car rides? Well, I get a little crazy, so I should be crated, but right now I’m harnessed and tied down tightly for safety. And other dogs? Love ‘em! I can be a bit much for some though, so I need a playful, patient buddy.

I’m learning leash manners, but I do pull when I see something fun, like squirrels! Oh, and I’ve got a few habits I’m working on—barking when I’m overstimulated, jumping to say hello, and I am a chewer, but keeping me busy and with the proper redirection I will learn speedy fast. I promise, with the right person willing to put in the effort, I’m super trainable. I’ve got the sweetest and smooshiest side, and I just need someone who’s ready to get outside with me and keep me active. I would LOVEEEE hanging out at Wagtime Kennels, or doggy daycare - I am a social dude, who will keep keep your heart full and your home happy.
