Loki is a 4-month-old German Shepherd/Husky mix with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love. Currently weighing 42 pounds, Loki is growing into a calm, affectionate dog who adores scratches and cuddles. Despite his playful puppy energy, he’s surprisingly low-energy for his age, making him a perfect companion for any home, whether you're relaxing on the couch or exploring the great outdoors.

He’s been great with children and doesn't mind the noise of kids playing nearby, as he lives next to a school! Loki would thrive in a home with a yard where he can run around, explore smells, and enjoy some outdoor playtime.

Loki's Favorite Things:

• Toys: He loves bones and soft toys that he can carry around and shake. 🦴🧸

• People: He’s affectionate and loves being around humans. However, he can be a bit shy around new people, especially if they’re standing up—crouching down to his level helps him feel more comfortable. 😊

• Crate Issues: Loki gets a little lonely and sad when placed in his crate, but with some soothing bedtime music and comforting words, he settles down for the night. Loki has shown great compatibility with other dogs—he’s currently living with a 6-year-old Chocolate Lab, and they get along wonderfully! 🐕 He’s making great progress with leash walking and is doing well so far, but more practice will only help him get even better. 🦮

• Another dog? He'd be fine with one, but also does well as an only dog.
