Meet Buster, a playful and sweet Boxer Terrier mix who’s almost 2 years old and weighs 56 pounds. I’m a smart, high-energy dog who loves cuddles and playing with toys, especially squeakers, tennis balls, and anything I can chew on. I’ve got a lot of love to give, but because of my protective nature over my toys, I’d do best in a home without small children, as they might make me a bit anxious.

I am a young, happy, and healthy pup. I’m crate-trained and do well on car rides, where I quietly lie down and enjoy the journey. I’m also good on a leash, though I might pull if I spot a squirrel—but I listen well to commands. When it comes to other dogs, I need a little time to get to know them before I’m ready to play, but once we have been properly introduced and had some time to get to know each other, I’m ready to rip around. Socialization is important for me, and I’d benefit from continued training, and lots of exposure especially when it comes to meeting new dogs and making friends.

I’m a bit of a barker when strangers come around, and I can use a little work on my manners, when it comes to jumping up when I’m excited or see someone I know. I love cheese 🧀 and yummy smelling treaties, so I am good for training - I will do anything for a yummy snackaroo. I’m low maintenance when it comes to toys, and would be perfectly happy with a few tennis balls to keep me entertained.

I’ve had a full vet check-up, so you can rest easy knowing I’m in tip-top shape. I’m all up-to-date on my vaccinations, including my rabies shot, and neutered too. I’ve tested negative for heartworm, I’m ready to bring all my love and snuggles to my forever home!
