DIGSBY - ADOPTED

Hey there! My name is Digsby, but you can call me "Digs." I'm a STRONG Lab/Bulldog mix weighing in at 75 lbs of love and goofiness. Despite being approximately 6 years old, I still have plenty of puppy energy to share!

My foster mom describes me as a happy, loyal, loving, and smart boy with a mostly low energy level, but don't be surprised if I have bursts of excitement now and then. I'm looking for a home where I can be the only pet—I get along with other dogs, but I really prefer being the center of attention.

Being a big guy, I need a strong handler who can keep up with me. While I may not be the best fit for a home with little kiddos, I promise I'll make up for it with my love for toys and treats—especially peanut butter!

I'm house trained and walk well on a leash, though I might pull if I catch a whiff of something interesting. But hey, I'm working on it! I know my basic commands and I'm super smart—I'll do anything for a tasty snack.

Life hasn't always been easy for me. I spent three long years in a loud shelter, and it made me a bit nervous around loud noises. With patience and exposure, I'm learning to overcome my fears. Having confident doggy friends would also help me feel more at ease.

Despite my past, I'm a patient and sweet boy with no resource guarding issues. I've been told I'm a sweetheart and a goofball—I love my zoomies and snuggling up for hugs and kisses. I'm so grateful to be out of that loud shelter and in the loving care of my foster mom.
