King is a 2-year-old, 42-pound bundle of energy and affection. He’s neutered, fully vetted, rabies vaccinated, and heartworm negative—ready to transition into a loving home after spending 130 long days at the shelter.

This pocket-sized social butterfly can be a bit reserved in his kennel, but once he gets outside for some playtime, his true personality shines. King is energetic and playful, yet he responds well to direction and walks nicely on a leash after burning off some energy. With a little patience and exercise, he settles into a much calmer state.

King has interacted off-leash with well-mannered, confident, and energetic dogs, but his physical play style might be too much for more dominant or less tolerant dogs. He would do well in a home with another dog who enjoys active play and can match his energy.
