MAMA D

Mama is a 5-year-old, 70 lb Bully mix with a heart full of love and a personality that will melt you. She’s a total sweetheart—sucky, lovey, goofy, and always happy. Mama has low energy and is perfectly content lounging around, but she’d love a yard to explore.

She’s fantastic in her crate and does well when left alone, though she has a habit of chewing on plastic items like remotes or computer mice if left unsupervised. Because of this, crating her when unattended is best. She’s mostly house-trained but needs a little help learning how to signal when she needs to go outside.

Mama is great in the car and loves new experiences, approaching them with curiosity and caution. While she was initially nervous meeting her foster siblings, she quickly warmed up and now enjoys playing and snuggling with other dogs. She would likely do well with a buddy! Mama hasn’t been tested with cats, but she’s very submissive and doesn’t seem to have a prey drive, so she might do fine.

She’s not reactive on walks but doesn’t trust new dogs right away, so they shouldn’t be allowed to approach her. She’s strong and can pull, but she’s responsive to corrections. Mama doesn’t bark or jump and doesn’t seem to need formal training—she’s naturally well-mannered!

Above all, Mama just wants love and approval. She’s incredibly sweet, gentle, and smart, making her an amazing companion. If you’re looking for a snuggly, affectionate, and easygoing pup, Mama might be the perfect fit!
